Writing Tip for Today: Getting a well-respected entity such as Publisher’s Weekly, Kirkus or Booklist to review your book isn’t as easy as sending one in for consideration. These places all receive hundreds of books per month, and being selected for review is not automatic. That my publisher, Abingdon Press, has garnered starred reviews from Publisher’s Weekly and Booklist is a testament to the quality of the novels in the fiction launch.
