Marching Along

In my last post I forgot to extend congrats to another current writing student, Blake Philips. Blake took my Essay class assignment to write an interview essay and managed to publish his piece on musician Todd Snider in about two weeks. Way to go, Blake.

On the home front, my copy edits on TFMFB (The Fence My Father Built) are turned in and now I can focus on marketing ideas, getting to know the stable of novelists at Abingdon Press and most important: working on the next novel. I have several in different stages of completion, but all are inspirational contemporary fiction.
Writing is an art form that never seems quite finished. I’m always thinking ahead, observing life around me and getting those thoughts and ideas into writing. Or I’m revising an idea. Or I’m blogging or Twittering or Facebooking the results. It really is a neverending story.
