Miss Crankypants is Babysitting

Miss Crankypants tells all the new writers about how she started out standing up at a typewriter that she perched on a stove top. This was because her ten daycare charges were around the corner enjoying a nice 90 minute rest. In theory, anyway. She managed to raise four kids to adulthood (or a reasonable facsimile) but, faced with two active grandsons, 7 months and 7 years old, she is totally wimping out. It’s the case of the seriously old wiped-out grandma.
The mommy and daddy are down with an ugly chest cold and they didn’t have to beg for Grammie to come take the kids so they can sleep. Grammie is going to need a stint in the asylum or the gym boot camp–these guys run circles around her. Literally. So fair readers, Miss CP will report on her adventures in babysitting when her hands are not quite so full. Thanks for understanding. Oh, and pray for me, will ya? Thanks.
